At bhnshop.nz, we want you to love your BHN Podcast merch! If something’s not quite right, we’ll do our best to sort it out quickly and fairly.
This policy outlines your rights and how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in line with New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
1. Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
Under New Zealand consumer law, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if an item you purchase is:

Not fit for its intended purpose
These rights apply automatically and can’t be excluded or limited by us.
2. Change of Mind Returns
We don’t normally accept returns if you simply change your mind or order the wrong size.
However, if your item is still unused, unworn, and in original packaging, contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we’ll see what we can do to help.
Any approved change-of-mind return must be sent back at your own cost, and refunds will exclude the original shipping fee.
3. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

Include your order number, a short description of the issue, and a clear photo if possible.

We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund - depending on what’s most practical.
We’ll cover return shipping for faulty or incorrect items.
4. How to Return an Item

Contact us first to confirm eligibility and receive return instructions.

Pack the item securely in its original packaging (if possible).

Send it to the return address we provide.

Once received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email and process your refund or exchange.
Refunds will be made to your original payment method (credit card or PayPal).
Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Sale Items
Sale or clearance items can only be returned if they’re faulty or not as described.
6. Shipping Costs

You’re responsible for the cost of returning non-faulty items.

If the item was faulty or incorrect, we’ll reimburse reasonable shipping costs.
